The Trem-Band™ Brass Tremolo Blocker
is a patented device that prevents upward motion of a floating tremolo, giving the tremolo downward motion only.
The Tremolo Blocker can be attached to either a
Floyd Rose® or Licensed by Floyd Rose® tremolo without any modifications to the guitar.

Band and Compression fitting
Once installed correctly, the Trem-Band becomes part of your tremolo and you will never have to worry about it again.

The patented Band and Compression fitting leave no room for error. It will not slide out of position, fall off the tremolo, bend or become unstable.

Because it attaches to your existing tremolo, there aren't any permanent modifications to your guitar body or tremolo. It's fully reversible, it doesn't require any disassembly of the actual tremolo, and best of all - NO DRILLING holes into anything.
Domed Brass Block
The "Domed Brass Block is unique because it will accommodate unlevel guitar body surfaces, both vertically and horizontally.
Location
The Trem-Band's "Domed Brass Block" rests between the guitar body and the tremolo block, taking full advantage of an untapped surface resource. The space it fills gives it direct access to the core of the guitar body,

in turn transferring all the vibration from the strings through the tremolo and into the body, so now, the trem is using the body as its mass.

It's a continuous line of vibration that isn't being interrupted by having to go through springs, a trem claw, and screws to get to the body. It's a direct hit to the core of the guitar body, dramatically increasing sustain, improving tone, and tuning stability.

It also greatly reduces time spent changing strings and tuning your instrument.
Stainless Steel Screws
Stainless steel screws with threadlocker and lock-washers keep the Trem-Band stable and secure.
An acrylic polymer threadlocker that damps and absorbs vibration has been applied to these screws, which prevents them from loosening.
The threadlocker is designed to remain flexible, making the screws adjustable, removable, and reusable.
Interesting fact: Although over 15 years of R&D, screws that were NOT coated with threadlocker nor had lockwashers installed, NEVER rattled loose or fell out, these features were added for extra assurance.
D-Tuner
Perfect for use with the D-Tuner drop D tuning system.

The D-Tuner MUST be coupled with a Stabilized/blocked tremolo or a tremolo that has been mounted flush with the guitar body.
​
Guitars with recessed trem routes require adding wood to the top of the guitar body or inside of the trem cavity, making it an irreversible/highly-noticeable modification which is usually done by a professional.
​
The Trem-Band Brass Tremolo Blocker does NOT require any added wood or construction and is fully reversible by simply removing it - regaining full original integrity of the guitar body.
Space/Gap it will fill
The Trem-Band Tremolo Blocker will accommodate a space as small as 3/16" and as large as 1/2"

Before ordering Check the space between the guitar body and tremolo block to make sure there is at least 3/16" of space.

The Trem-Band Tremolo Blocker is compatible with other tremolo brands with the same block dimensions as the Floyd Rose®
